Alicia Menendez: Carly Fiorina Running A Fifth Grade, 'No Boyz Allowed' Campaign

Fusion host Alicia Menendez slammed Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina on her show Wednesday for turning her candidacy into a schoolyard fight with Hillary Clinton.

“This is a woman who has a professional track record that she could run on, which a lot of these people don’t have,” Menendez said on “Come Here, Say That,” referring to Fiorina’s tenure as CEO of Hewlett-Packard. “I feel like she could be making a really strong case and yet the only case she seems to be making right now is that she’s not Hillary Clinton. And to me, that seems pointedly anti-feminist.”

Menendez pointed out that since announcing her candidacy on “Good Morning America,” Fiorina has focused on giving interviews to outlets with large female audiences, including the daily email newsletter theSkimm and “The Today Show.”

“I get that she’s trying to court women but is she trying to court only women? Is she mimicking her campaign strategy when she ran for president of the fifth grade on a ‘no boys allowed’ platform?” Menendez asked.
